Baby Botox

A treatment that aims to soften fine lines with low doses and controlled injection points while preserving natural expressions.

Overview

Baby botox is a botox application in which botulinum toxin is delivered in lower doses to carefully controlled points, based on the person's facial anatomy, muscle strength and expression patterns, aiming to preserve natural expressions as much as possible.

The purpose of baby botox is not to make the face completely immobile; it is to soften the fine lines that become visible during expression while achieving a more natural and rested look.

“Baby botox” is not a separate type of botulinum toxin or a different product. The term describes the dose and injection approach used in the application.

How Is Baby Botox Performed?

Before the procedure the face is assessed both at rest and during expression. Muscle strength, brow position and expression lines are examined to determine the injection points.

A local anaesthetic cream is applied to the area and left for about 15 minutes. Botulinum toxin is then injected into the determined points with very fine needles.

The procedure is short and the person can return to daily life afterwards.

Eligibility

Who Is Baby Botox Suitable For?

Baby botox is particularly preferred for;

  • Those whose fine lines are starting to show during expression,
  • Those who want to preserve their natural expressions as much as possible,
  • Those who prefer a softer and more natural look after botox,
  • Those who want to reduce expression lines on the forehead, between the brows or around the eyes,
  • Those considering botox for the first time

For baby botox, rather than a specific age limit, the person's muscle activity, existing lines and expectations are what matter.

Application Areas

Which Areas Is Baby Botox Applied To?

01

Forehead Lines

A low dose is planned for horizontal forehead lines in a way that preserves brow position.

02

Between the Brows

The vertical frown lines that appear during expression are targeted.

03

Crow's Feet

Applied to the smile lines around the eyes while preserving natural expression.

The treatment areas and the botulinum toxin dose are determined according to the person's facial anatomy and expressions.

Process

01

When Does Baby Botox Take Effect?

The effect of baby botox usually begins within the first few days after the application. About 10–14 days are needed to fully evaluate the result.

If necessary, an additional application with small doses can be made at the follow-up visit.

02

How Long Does Baby Botox Last?

The effect of baby botox generally lasts 3–6 months. However, when lower doses are preferred, the duration may be shorter depending on the person's muscle strength and the dose used.

As the effect of botulinum toxin wears off, expression movements gradually return.

03

A Dose That Preserves Natural Expression

In baby botox the dose is determined by the person's muscle strength; applying the same amount to everyone is not the right approach.

The aim is to soften lines without restricting expressions and to achieve a rested look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Baby Botox

Baby botox is not a separate product; it is a concept describing the dose and application approach.

What is the difference between baby botox and regular botox?+

Botulinum toxin is used in both. Baby botox is not a separate product. The main difference is that the treatment plan uses more controlled and generally lower doses, aiming to preserve natural expressions to a greater degree.

Does baby botox freeze the face?+

The purpose of baby botox is not to make the face completely immobile. The goal is to reduce excessive muscle movement and expression lines while preserving the person's expressions as much as possible.

Does baby botox prevent wrinkles?+

Botulinum toxin temporarily reduces the movement of the mimic muscles. This helps limit the deepening over time of lines caused by repeated facial movements.

At what age is baby botox performed?+

There is no fixed starting age that applies to everyone. Rather than age, the strength of the mimic muscles, the state of the lines and whether the treatment is genuinely needed are assessed.

Is baby botox suitable for first-time botox patients?+

It can be preferred for people having botulinum toxin for the first time who wish to preserve their natural expressions. However, the dose must be determined according to muscle strength; a low dose is not appropriate for everyone.

Assessment

Baby Botox Is Planned Individually

Baby botox is not about giving everyone the same low dose; it is about determining the most appropriate dose according to the person's facial anatomy and the strength of their mimic muscles.

The aim is to soften expression lines while preserving natural facial expression and to achieve a more rested appearance.
