Biostimulator Treatments – Liquid Facelift

Liquid facelift describes personalised injection treatments aimed at supporting the facial tissue support that decreases with age, improving skin quality and making facial contours more balanced.

Overview

Liquid facelift describes personalised injection treatments aimed at supporting the facial tissue support that decreases with age, improving skin quality and making facial contours more balanced.

How Do Biostimulators Work?

Collagen production in the skin decreases with age; the skin may look thinner, laxer and less elastic.

Biostimulators aim to stimulate new collagen synthesis by creating a controlled biological response in the treated tissue. Unlike classic fillers, their results therefore largely appear over time.

The aim is less to change facial features than to improve tissue quality and support for a more natural renewal.

01

Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA)

Calcium hydroxyapatite is a biostimulator that can both provide tissue support and stimulate collagen production.

The way the product is used and its dilution ratio may vary with the treatment goal. When properly diluted, it can be used to support skin quality, firmness and elasticity.

Besides the face, it can also be applied to areas such as the neck, décolleté and back of the hands in suitable patients.

02

Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA)

PLLA is a biostimulator treatment that aims to increase the tissue's own collagen production over time.

Its effect becomes visible through collagen production developing over weeks and months rather than immediate fullness.

It can be considered particularly for people whose tissue support declines with age and who want a more gradual, natural change.

Eligibility

Who Are Biostimulator Treatments Suitable For?

Biostimulator treatments may be preferred especially for people who;

  • have begun to notice reduced skin firmness and elasticity with age,
  • notice reduced facial tissue support and mild laxity,
  • want their skin to look firmer, more radiant and better in quality,
  • want to support collagen production without adding noticeable volume to the face,
  • have signs of ageing on the face, neck, décolleté or back of the hands,
  • want a natural result developing over time rather than a sudden, obvious change

Areas

Which Areas Can Be Treated?

Depending on individual needs and the biostimulator used;

  • Cheeks and midface
  • Temples
  • Jawline
  • Lower face
  • Neck
  • Décolleté
  • Back of the hands

different areas such as these can be included in the treatment plan.

Not every product is suitable for every area. Product choice, injection depth and amount must be determined according to facial anatomy and the targeted effect.

When Are the Effects of Biostimulators Visible?

The effect of biostimulator treatments appears gradually as collagen production increases over time. The first changes may begin within weeks; improvement in skin quality, firmness and tissue support usually becomes more evident from months 2–3 onwards.

The duration of the effect varies with the biostimulator used, the treated area and the person's skin, but can last on average 1–1.5 years.

How Many Sessions Are Needed?

Biostimulator treatments can be planned as one or more sessions depending on the product and individual needs. With calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) a single session is often preferred, while PLLA may require several sessions depending on the desired collagen stimulation.

The treatment plan is determined individually according to age, skin quality, the degree of tissue loss and the product used.

Is a Liquid Facelift an Alternative to Surgery?

A liquid facelift is not a surgical facelift and does not provide the same result as surgery in advanced skin laxity.

The aim of biostimulator treatments is to support the collagen production that declines with age, improve skin and tissue quality and achieve a more rested, balanced appearance without altering natural facial anatomy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Biostimulator Treatments Are Planned Individually

Every face ages differently and needs different support. The choice between CaHA, PLLA or other biostimulators and the areas treated are therefore determined by facial anatomy and skin structure, not by a standard template.

The aim is to support collagen production while preserving the natural proportions of the face, achieving a firmer, more balanced and natural appearance over time.

Are biostimulators the same as fillers?+

Is the result visible immediately?+

Because the main effect of biostimulators depends on collagen production, the real result develops over time, so the change is usually gradual.

Do biostimulators make the face look puffy?+

Uygulama sonrasında geçici ödem görülebilir. Ancak biyostimülan tedavilerde amaç yüzü gereğinden fazla hacimlendirmek değil, doku desteğini ve cilt kalitesini artırmaktır.
